While we ought to be cleaning our pet’s teeth every day, most dogs aren’t too keen on the idea! That’s why we offer ultrasonic teeth and gum cleaning as part of our grooming services.
Ultrasonic teeth cleaning is totally silent and requires zero movement, mechanism or pressure inside the mouth. It’s non-intrusive for dogs and highly effective at keeping their teeth healthy and clean.

While some people don’t believe teeth cleaning is necessary for dogs, poor oral hygiene poses a significant health risk. Bacteria and tartar can build up in the mouth and cause infection in both the mouth and the rest of the body.
A dog’s wild, wolfy ancestors didn’t need to brush their teeth. A diet of bone, skin and hair meant that food particles were unlikely to stick to their teeth. Today’s dog food doesn’t have the same effect, even if you’re raw feeding.
Regular teeth cleaning can reduce instances of tooth pain in your dog and prevent the need for corrective dental surgery involving anaesthesia.

At DogzBody Spa, we use Emmi®-pet technology to clean your dog’s teeth and gums.
Ultrasonic waves penetrate 12 millimetres deep, cleaning the outside of the teeth and preventing gum infections.
While it looks like an electric toothbrush, it emits no sound, movement or vibration.
There’s no brushing involved so there’s no need to scrub or press down on teeth and gums.
To maintain clean and healthy teeth, we recommend a teeth clean every 6 weeks.
